Fans of gaming and internet culture-themed entertainment from the early 2000s were delighted at this year's Comic-con, when G4TV announced that it would be returning in 2021. While the network has been mostly silent about how it will be coming back, a recently announced G4TV Reunion Special might be giving fans, if not a look forward, a look back at the network's history.

In celebration of this upcoming Reunion Special and charities that the event intends to bring attention to, former hosts Kevin Pereira and Adam Sessler spoke with Game Rant about their history on G4TV and the event. One of the topics that they spoke about included their favorite moments from while hosting Attack of the Show! and X-Play, with a couple of interesting stories rising to the top.

Pereira commented on the surreal experience of looking back at his extended tenure with G4TV, and after seeing clips of himself exploding through balloons and slamming into the ground thinking, "Oh, that's why my bones hurt." As he puts it, seeing those moments through older eyes has put a new perspective on it, one where he appreciates his time hosting G4TV's Attack of the Show! and everything the job may have forced on his body. After almost a decade away from G4TV, the passage of time and age of both hosts became a frequent topic for the interview, a topic both Sessler and Pereira were more than comfortable to get the jump on addressing.

Sessler chose "The Desert Episode" from X-Play as his favorite moment from his time at G4TV. He describes that the premise of the entire episode was that they just wanted to "blow stuff up." So, naturally, they went to the desert, filmed some crazy scenes and Sessler commented fondly on the experience, even if it may have given him heat stroke. Granted, it was this crazy view on production that created so much of the strange content the fans are excited to see return with G4TV, in whatever form the network rives in.

Considering that the Reunion Special is more of a look back at what G4TV was back in its prime, it's likely that fans will get another look at these moments when the event airs. It should also be noted that the special is also a charity event, supporting seven charities promoting education and youth healthcare during the days-long Gravython. So, while the show should be an entertaining look back at the best of G4TV, viewers will be encouraged to donate to a number of passionate causes.

The G4TV Reunion Special will air Tuesday, November 24th on YouTube at 9pm ET / 6pm PT, and re-air on SYFY channel at Midnight ET/PT on Friday (11pm CT). Fans can donate to the Gravython's various charities at Tiltify now. Fans can donate to the Gravython's various charities at Tiltify now.
