For example, one player was attempting to capture their character at their most photogenic when an unexpected guest arrived and ruined the moment.
Though not as terrifying as a Red Dead Redemption 2 murder cabin, the scenario that Reddit user Umbabawe23 captured was startling if not wildly funny. The scenario was that Umbabawe23 was taking a screenshot of their character looking quite dashing with a background to match. Suddenly, another character swiftly enters the room, slowly takes aim at Umbabawe23's head, and ends the photo booth moment.
While mods can bring their own form of fun, such as Red Dead Redemption 2's Zack becoming Zeus, there is definitely something to say for the random encounters created by the game itself. In the case of Umbabawe23, it seemed that they did nothing wrong, simply crossing paths with the wrong stranger. It was also unfortunate to realize that the killer was actually a player, as the clip could have been much more random and hilarious had the killer been an NPC.
