When it comes to Grand Theft Auto Online, there are all kinds of dangers lurking around every corner of the game's world. One particular player recently demonstrated the dangers of just trying to get out the door without dying during an average day in Grand Theft Auto Online.
Because of the nature of GTA Online, there are all kinds of different things that can happen in any given session, though some of the dangers that pop up are less pressing than others. While one person might be worried about being shot by other users, another GTA Online player might find a deer show up where it shouldn't. However, when it comes to taking a step out the door, animals take a back seat to people who just like to take potshots as demonstrated in a funny new video.
Reddit user raswerty posted the recent video showing just how ridiculous Grand Theft Auto Online can be at times. In the video titled, "On second thought I'mma stay home," the player's character is stepping out of the "Weazel Plaza Apartments," likely ready to go out on the night and commit a few crimes. However, the minute the characters steps out the door someone begins shooting at them. The video then shows the player walking their character back into the apartment building.
This particular incident isn't really all that uncommon in this game. There are plenty of players that spend a good portion of their Grand Theft Online sessions taking shots at players. Some players find ways to make those shots all the more difficult while others are perfectly happy to camp outside a business or a home in order to open fire when someone pokes their head out.
Several of the other Reddit users made it clear they've had similar situations. One said they had almost exactly the same kind of experience where people would shoot at them the minute they stepped outside. Others talked about how they expected this kind of thing to happen and then would prepare themselves by setting up booby traps for anyone looking to take a shot at them.
Other users just commented about how funny they found the video and how weird the world of Grand Theft Auto Online can be from time to time. It's a safe bet that while this Reddit user was the latest to post a video showing the dangers of just stepping outside, they won't be the last.
