Just last week, it was revealed by way of the Slash 'N Cast YouTube channel that the forthcoming Part 4 Jason's new weapon is called the Pig Splitter, which is essentially a long-handled butcher knife that will give the serial killer character the chance to make mincemeat out of Friday the 13th: The Game's Camp Counselors in his own special way. Now, it looks as if Gun Media and IllFonic are set to provide the Part 4 Jason skin with even more unique features, as he along with Part 9 Jason will be receiving their own chase music.

This much was revealed by way of Friday the 13th: The Game co-creator Ronnie Hobbs' interaction with a fan on Twitter after being asked about Part 4 and Part 9 Jason, with the designer for the asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror game confirming that they will both be getting their own special audio cue when chasing Camp Counselors. However, Hobbs failed to mention exactly when these features will be implemented in the game.

For those unaware, each Jason variation in Friday the 13th: The Game all have their own chase music at the moment in order to broadcast their Camp Counselor hunts, with the only exception being the killer from Part 9 of the film franchise. So, presumably, once Part 4 Jason is finally added into the title at some point in the near future, Part 9 Jason will also be receiving his own theme once the DLC update is applied.

Not only will the addition of Part 4 Jason in Friday the 13th: The Game bring about new chase music for the character's skin, but also Gun Media and IllFonic will incorporate the Jarvis House map into the title to give fans a fresh area in which to play. As evidenced in a teaser trailer, the Jarvis House map could also include weather effects, as a thunderstorm was seen ensuring in the general area, drowning the property in rain and tossing tree limbs and fro with powerful gusts of wind.

Taking all of this into consideration, it's great to see Gun Media and IllFonic continuing to step up and provide Friday the 13th: The Game with such interesting and distinctive features such as the specific chase music for the next Jason skin. With any luck, we will see the content added to the game soon after the companies are finished with the title's current batch of bug fixes.

Friday the 13th: The Game is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
