Just recently, the publisher Gun Media and developer IllFonic revealed intentions to unban some cheaters and exploiters in the next patch for the asymmetrical multiplayer survival-horror release Friday the 13th: The Game. With this being the case, those lucky few who manage to get reinstated to play the title will eventually get to experience a new Camp Counselor in the form of Fox from Part 3 in the film series, as the game's creators are preparing to add her at some point in the future.

As seen in the tweet below from the official Friday the 13th: The Game Twitter account, Gun Media and IllFonic have slated Fox's appearance in the title as "coming soon," but the companies have failed to share an exact time as to when fans should expect her arrival. Apparently, the Part 3 character was supposed to be included in the latest patch for the game, but didn't make the cut due to undisclosed reasons.

For those Friday the 13th: The Game fans unaware of who Fox actually is, she was one of the three secondary villains of Part 3 from the slasher film franchise, and was a member of a biker gang. As it so happens, the character then went on to make her final appearance in Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter – that is, the fourth installment in the movie series and not actually the last entry as the title suggests.

All things considered, it's great to see that Gun Media and IllFonic are continuing to add even more content to Friday the 13th: The Game well after its launch back in May of this year. And as far as Fox's inclusion is concerned, she could well be on her way into the game tomorrow. After all, tomorrow is actually Friday the 13th, which would be a great time to introduce a glut of free DLC to the community. IllFonic has already confirmed that a new Camp Counselor named Mitch Floyd will be joining the roster then, and Fox would make a great addition and antithesis alongside the stoner archetype.

Friday the 13th: The Game is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
