For Friday the 13th: The Game players who were not completely satisfied with the color choice for the recently added Part 5 Jason, an alternate color option will be made available to them soon.

Apparently, there has been an ongoing debate between Friday the 13th: The Game players on the precise color of Part 5 Jason's coveralls from the film. Some see them as blue, while others see green. Players are pretty adamant about staying true to the source material, and both sides have been making their case online with screenshots to back up their claims on what the color should be.

To quell the debate and appease both sides, Gun Media is adding an alternate color. While the colors still won't be a perfect match for every scene in the movie, they're hopefully close enough to satisfy persnickety players. The greenish outfit will remain the default option, while the blue will become the alternate choice in a future update.

This issue might come as a surprise to some fans, since the film this Jason was plucked from, Friday the 13th: A New Beginning, is arguable the worst film in the franchise. In fact, this Jason isn't even really Jason. He's a paramedic named Roy Burns, driven mad by the death of his son. It just goes to show that the series is so beloved that even this film has a following.

Part 5 Jason was added last month with a new map, Pinehurst Youth Development Center, which was a halfway house in the film. Alongside the new content came a few small tweaks to the way Jason works as a whole in Friday the 13th. All the skins received a small speed increase and they now start each game with two extra throwing knives. Jason's grab range was also adjusted, making it more difficult for counselors to escape the killer's grasp.

As for what else Gun Media is cooking up, a single player mode is currently in development for the game. In this mode, players will be able to hunt down counselors, as Jason, offline through a series of challenges. While the regular multiplayer mode takes place after all the counselors are already running for their lives, single player will begin like most of the films, when the campers are just settling in and completely unaware of the horrors about to ensue. This gives Jason an opportunity to get the drop on them, as the recently released single player teaser trailer demonstrates.
