Although social deduction games have existed in the past, it is no secret that 2018's Among Us revived the interest in the genre after it became a smash hit. Unsurprisingly, the popularity of Among Us inspired other game developers to create their take on social deduction games, as is the case for Invisible Walls' First Class Trouble.

For the uninitiated, First Class Trouble was first released in early access for the PC via Steam. Shortly after its release, First Class Trouble received positive reviews, and last month, it was announced that the game would be released for PS4 and PS5. Luckily for PS Plus subscribers, it was also announced recently that First Class Trouble would be included in the service's roster of free games in November, allowing players to try it out cost-free.

What is First Class Trouble?

In First Class Trouble, six players are brought together as passengers aboard a luxury space cruiser. Four of those players will take the role of the Residents, while the other two will be AI impersonators called Personoids. Like other social deduction games, the Residents must complete specific objectives and prevent the Personoids from doing their evil bidding. On the other hand, the task of the Personoids is to lie and deceive fellow players, killing them off one by one without being caught.

First Class Trouble's gameplay mechanics are pretty similar to other social deduction games. However, what sets it apart from the rest are the unique ways to kill off other players, such as luring them to venus fly traps, drowning them in pools, and many more. Additionally, First Class Trouble on the PS4 and PS5 will feature Fast Boot, allowing players to skip right to the main menu after each session during their first game. Finally, players trying out First Class Trouble on the PS5 would be happy to know that the game will be taking advantage of the DualSense controller's features, such as adaptive triggers.

Just last September, Invisible Walls announced that First Class Trouble would be released on the PS4 and PS5. Luckily for PS Plus subscribers who are still unsure whether First Class Trouble is worth the purchase, it was confirmed a couple of days ago that the game will be included as a free title on the PS Plus. This means that for November, players with an active subscription to PS Plus will be able to download and access the game for an entire month.

It is worth remembering that before the official unveiling of November's lineup of PS Plus games at the recent State of Play presentation, First Class Trouble was already leaked online alongside other games that were also confirmed at the State of Play, including Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, Knockout City, and The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. However, instead of just the four games that were leaked before the announcement, it turns out that PS Plus subscribers are getting more in November, given that Sony also unveiled that PS Plus users would get The Persistence and Until You Fall for PSVR.

Lastly, for players who are not subscribed to PS Plus or for those who want to purchase the game right away, First Class Trouble will be available on November 2, 2021, for a relatively low price of $14.99. As previously mentioned, First Class Trouble will be released to both the PS4 and PS5, and the game is already available on the PC. Unfortunately, the official Twitter account for First Class Trouble revealed that it still doesn't have any details to share on whether cross-platform play between consoles and PC will be available at launch.

First Class Trouble is out now for PC and will release on PS4 and PS5 on November 2, 2021.
