Forza is a consistent presence at Microsoft's E3 press conferences every year, and if a recent leak is any indication, that will be no different at today's event. According to an unnamed source "close to the matter," Forza Motorsport 7 will be announced during Microsoft's presentation, with a launch scheduled for October 3rd on both PC and Xbox One.

The Forza Motorsport 7 leak comes from the website Indian Noob, which has leaked other details about Microsoft's press conference as well, including the existence of an Ori and the Blind Forest sequel. Whether or not this information is accurate is anyone's guess, but the site has provided stills of the game as proof, supposedly taken from footage of it running in 4K on Project Scorpio.

The images in question can be seen below. While the resolution is low quality, it seems likely that these stills are the genuine article. After all, Forza Motorsport 7's existence was leaked six months ago, and since the franchise is always present at E3, there was never reason to expect that this year would be any different.

Luckily, fans won't have to wait long at all to learn whether or not this Forza Motorsport 7 leak is legitimate. Microsoft's E3 2017 press conference is scheduled to begin at 2:00pm Pacific later today, at which time the game's release date and other details should be revealed.

One thing fans can likely look forward to learning is how Forza Motorsport 7 will be enhanced by Project Scorpio. According to today's leak, one benefit will be the ability to play the game in native 4K resolution, but it's possible that Forza Motorsport 7 will have additional perks on the Scorpio as well.

All these details and more should come later today during Microsoft's E3 2017 press conference. In the meantime, fans can study the leaked screenshots for any additional clues as to what Forza Motorsport 7 will entail.

Forza Motorsport 7 is rumored to launch on October 3, 2017 for PC and Xbox One.
