Forza Horizon 5 boasts a library of over 500 cars for players to acquire and drive, but for some gamers, this doesn't appear to be enough. Some fans have decided to draw on other franchises and even existing cars for inspiration when crafting new skins for their vehicles. Now, not one but two Forza Horizon 5 fans have pieced together striking and otherworldly skins modeled after Hot Rod from Transformers.

Hot Rod, also known as Rodimus Prime or Rodimus, is a brash and headstrong Autobot from the wartorn planet of Cybertron. In most renditions of the Transformers franchise, Hot Rod has used his shapeshifting abilities to disguise himself as a 1988 Lamborghini Countach. However, in his appearance in Transformers: The Last Knight, he changed his vehicle of choice to the Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4.

A post shared by Twitter user Transformers Den drew attention to a Forza Horizon 5 paint job for the 1988 Lamborghini Countach clearly modeled after Hot Rod. Created by Redditor roam_hylia, the design features a magenta body, yellow markings that evoke flame and speed lines, and a prominent Autobot Insignia displayed proudly on the red hood. The clear lack of a driver finishes the picture of a stylish alien pretending to be a stylish car. The 1988 Lamborghini Countach may not be the fastest car in Forza Horizon 5, but with this paint job, it may be the most visually striking.

It may not surprise Transformers fans to learn that this isn't the only Hot Rod-inspired paint job created by Forza Horizon 5 players. Twitter user Cdub5k also created their own rendition of Hot Rod with an alternate color scheme. This version of Hot Rod depicts him with a dark red body, an orange hood, and a splash of yellow-green around his Autobot Insignia. However, this powerful Autobot is still depicted with no driver at the wheel, making the paint job easily recognizable.

As of writing, it appears that these Transformers-inspired paint jobs have inspired other Transformers fans to create paint jobs for other vehicles found in Forza Horizon 5. Twitter user bighairprime seems to have created a paint job based on Jazz from the Transformers G1 cartoon, while JamesMc41912863 has put together a solid rendition of Red Alert.

With over 500 cars to pick from, Forza Horizon 5 may be an ideal playground for fans to experiment with Transformers-inspired paint jobs.

Forza Horizon 5 is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
