Drifting in Forza Horizon 5 helps players gain experience, level up, and compete in drift-series races. The best way to learn how to drift better is to find drift spots in Forza Horizon 5 where cars can be pushed to their limit. This article is for those looking for the perfect places to begin their drifting careers.

The key to a good drift is finding a stretch of road where a car can hold it's provoked slide for as long as possible. The best roads are usually a bit curved and have a few abrupt turns. There are a few such places in Forza Horizon 5 for players that know where to look. Indeed, drift spots aren't always obvious, especially to players who typically engage in road or street races. Knowing the best spots and having the best cars for drifting is important when it comes to being a better drifter in Forza.

There are a few undeniably great spots for drifting and cross-country racing in Forza Horizon 5. The first two are very close to each other, both in the northeastern portion of the map, near the ocean. The first is just above the section of the map labeled 'Tierra Prospera.' It's a little blobbed road the forms a simple circuit in the mountains. This area is great for drifting because it has continuous bends and perfect turns for transitions (when a driver switches from drifting the car in one direction to drifting it in another). This allows for longer drifts and more XP. The second drift spot is just to the right of 'Tierra Prospera.' It's a little curved road around a small roundabout. There, players will be able to attempt harder and more impressive drifts in the best cars Forza has to offer.

Another great zone for impressive drifting is near 'La Gran Caldera.' There is a long, winding mountain road that serves as the perfect location for players to drift. And, south of 'La Gran Caldera,' just east of 'Baja California' there is a small town that is perfect for drifting, too. It has short but dramatic stretches of road that allow players to push their cars into extreme drifts. And, of course, players can always use the Event Lab to create events that showcase their drifting abilities.

Drifting is an important part of Forza Horizon 5. With cross-country and off-road events and the Event Lab, players have more access to drifting events than ever before. Drifting is also fun, and can be a great way for newer players to level up without much difficulty. Whether players are road racing or dirt racing in Forza Horizon 5, drifting is a valuable skill to have. By using the best drifting areas, players can gain confidence and skill faster than ever.

Essentially, drifting is an unavoidable part of the Forza experience, and that's a good thing. It's helpful for players who are looking to get a new challenge out of the game, and it can unlock many other doors for fans of the franchise. So many people in the Forza community focus on the fast and expensive cars, but there's much more to the game. Embracing drifting is certainly a worthwhile pursuit than can make Forza Horizon 5 a show-stopping title.

Forza Horizon 5 is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
