The latest action racer from Playground Games, Forza Horizon 5, has rocketed out of the gates to quickly become one of the highest rated games of 2021. This entry takes players and the festival to Mexico, complete with 11 distinct biomes from the deserts, to the dense jungles, and even the massive Gran Caldera volcano which Playground Games confirmed is the highest point the series has ever attempted. The game also tries its hand at some newer features as well, such as the Expeditions mode.

New to the Forza Horizon series are Expeditions. As the name implies, these are campaign-style event types that players can participate in alongside the other expected Showcase modes. Each one highlights a particular section of the map narrated by the NPC Ramero. In addition to learning more about the area and some of the major locations there, the game will present players with a number of optional objectives to complete.

Naturally, some of these objectives in Forza Horizon 5 are also linked to various rewards including Xbox Achievements. While Forza Horizon 5 has 1000 gamerscore to collect, one achievement in particular known as An Item of Extreme Value has been stumping players who are looking for a Golden Tlaloc Totem. Here's where players can finally photograph the hard to find statue.

Horizon Apex Adventure

To get started, players will need to start the Tulum Expedition under the Horizon Apex Adventure option. To satisfy the requirement, players will need to take a photograph a Golden Statue during the first tier of the event as it won't be available during Free Roam.

Tulum Outpost

Players will need to drive through a storm before reaching Tulum on the Southeastern side of Forza's massive Mexico map to establish the Apex Outpost inside of some ancient ruins. Once here, optional objective will appear, including one tasking players to Photograph the Golden Statue. Thankfully, the section of the map where players can finish these objectives is highlighted. While the area is small, locating each item, such as the Golden Statue, can still be difficult.

The Golden Tlaloc Totem

While the totem itself is described as Golden, the item itself isn't as big or quite as grand as it seems. For one, the Totem isn't as tall as a statue nor is it a brilliant gold. Forza Horizon 5 players will want to look for a stone house with a Totem surrounded in scaffolding nearby.

Once located, players will want to select up on the d-pad (P for Forza Horizon 5 PC players who opt to use a keyboard) which opens the game's impressive photo mode. While players can certainly opt to play around with all of the various options and filters, simply taking a screenshot of the Totem is enough to satisfy the condition as well as unlock the achievement.

Forza Horizon 5 launches November 9 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
