Only a week remains until the next console generation begins with the launch of the Xbox Series X and Series S, and while most people are understandably focusing on the XSX’s brand new launch titles, Microsoft will also be offering upgrades for existing titles like Forza Horizon 4. Case in point, it looks like the open-world racer will be receiving a new car to mark the consoles’ launch.

It’s been known since September that Forza Horizon 4 will be getting a free next-gen upgrade that will enhance the game with the Xbox Series’ advanced hardware, but fans think that’s not all that’s coming next week. This week, developer Playground Games took to the official Forza Horizon Twitter to tease an upcoming livestream that will celebrate the game’s launch on next-gen consoles.

What caught people’s attention was the image in the post, which features a closeup of a distinct set of rear lights. These have led fans to believe that Playground is going to add the Singer DLS to Forza Horizon 4's vast selection of cars. The Singer DLS is a souped-up version of the Porsche 911 that boasts over 500 horsepower and a top speed of 186mph, and while that’s well below the speeds that the game's fastest vehicles can reach, that should be enough to provide fans with plenty of high-speed thrills.

Although the Singer DLS’s addition seems likely, it’s still a matter of speculation what’s being added to Forza Horizon 4 beyond the next-gen enhancements. However, with Playground’s livestream airing this Thursday, November 5, and the XSX version launching just five days later, fans won’t have to wait long to find out.

Forza Horizon 4 is available for PC and Xbox One, with an optimized Xbox Series X version launching on November 10.
