One of the most exhilarating aspects of Playground Games' epic open-world racer, Forza Horizon 4, is its slew of jumps, ramps, and cliffs. These allow drivers to soar through the air and get some hang time. The vast stretches of offroad terrain allow for this, given the various hills and bumps scattered about. These give players the opportunity to string together Skill Point combos by doing naught but launching themselves off of these hills.

Then there are the thrilling, cinematic Danger Signs, where players are called to launch off of various ramps throughout England. These often sit at intimidatingly high latitudes, which can make for an exciting and intense ride through the sky. They almost guarantee ample time in the air, though notching a high score and earning a 3-star rating can be tricky.

Updated December 3, 2021, by Stephen LaGioia: Another iteration of Forza Horizon has been released, and with it, a slew of fun new challenges, gorgeous locales, and of course, a massive lineup of sleek cars. But for many, its British-based predecessor continues to take off, thanks to its wealth of gameplay, seasonal challenges, and addictive online gameplay. Updates in the months leading up to the anticipated Forza Horizon 5 release have kept gamers coming back for more races, memorable story missions, and of course—adrenaline-fueled Danger Jumps.

Even as recent as summer 2021, Series 36 and 37 updates saw the release of a few brand new cars for gamers to try out in Forza Horizon 4. Given the game's continued momentum, it seemed fitting to revisit and rev up this list with even more of the best cars for jumping and wracking up points with Danger Signs.

15 Alumi Craft Class 10 Race Car

Forza Horizon 4 Aumi Craft Class 10 Race Car flying down hill

Debuting in the offroad-heavy FH3, this buggy was built to withstand a bumpy ride and ample jumping. Its springy suspension and durability make it ideal for rough driving and flying off ramps, weathering the impacts with ease.

It's not the fastest car around, but its more-than-respectable launch abilities allow drivers to get rolling quickly and get that momentum they need for some hang time. This wild ride can be bought from the Autoshow for 300,000 CR.

14 Saleen S1

Sporting a 2.5 Turbocharged I4 and 456 brake horsepower, this supercar really is a superb choice when it comes to flying off those Danger Signs. As long as drivers get a decent head start, the Saleen S1 can quickly rev up and zip across the straightaway at lightning speed, setting the stage for some epic jumps.

This is a Hard-to-Find vehicle that can't be had from the Autoshow, but players who like a smooth, fast ride should keep their eyes peeled for seasonal appearances. The Saleen S1 has shown up in the Forzathon Shop and as a Festival Playlist reward.

13 Dodge Charger R/T

Drivers can channel their inner Duke Boys by soaring off the various hills and cliffs in FH4. While this one is more of an amusing novelty as opposed to being practically great for jumps, it's still a fun sight to see this classic car flying from Danger Signs.

That's not to say this muscle car isn't capable in its own right. The '69 Dodge comes with a 7.0L Naturally-Aspirated V8 and 425 bhp and yields a pretty solid launch to boot. Purchase it from the Autoshow for a meager 103,000 CR.

12 Aston Martin Vulcan FE

Even James Bond would envy drivers zipping across the highway in this gem—particularly the superior Forza Edition, which has a higher upgrade preset and a Clean Skills boost. This beast is laced with a 7.0L Naturally-Aspirated V12 engine and 820 bhp, giving it plenty of juice for some long, sky-high jumps.

While this 2016 Aston Martin boasts insane speeds and launch, its statistics and abilities are excellent pretty much across the board. Players will have to be lucky enough to land the Forza Edition via Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin, though its still-great original model can be bought from the Autoshow for 1,500,000 CR.

11 Dodge Dart

While this '68 Dodge is charmingly retro and simple in its design, it can be quite capable when it comes to handling rougher terrain and handling clean jumps.

With its great launch abilities and fairly lightweight build, this classic is well-equipped for drag racing as well as some photo-finish leaps from Danger Signs. Get it at the Autoshow for a budget price of 125,000 CR.

10 Ford Ranger Raptor

The focus of this piece will mainly be on fast cars that get tons of air by propelling from Danger Signs. However, many also seek to get air by way of bumpy terrain to rack up Skill Points. For that purpose offroading trucks like this one are optimal. That's because their rally tires and suspension are usually able to absorb the bumpiness and act as a sort of springboard and shock absorber.

This 2019 Raptor is solid for this in particular, as it's a top-of-the-line Ranger that's built to handle all sorts of rugged terrain. It can also plow fairly easily through the bumpy paths usually leading to Danger Sign ramps, maximizing the speed and air when launching. This car can be secured at a budget price of 58,000 CR at the Autoshow.

9 Shelby Monaco King Cobra

It certainly helps to have this one maxed out, as its default state is on the tepid side. But when juiced up, this classic race car can be great for getting some hangtime.

Its stellar 8.7 launch stat allows players to propel themselves forward, quickly gaining momentum for an extended jump over a hilly path or Danger Sign. Its lighter weight is also ideal in keeping its driver airborne longer. This is a DLC car (Barrett-Jackson Car Pack) that can be bought at the Autoshow for 550,000 CR.

8 Ariel Nomad

This buggy is excellent when it comes to offroad driving, and this includes the inevitable jumps that come with natural terrain.

At the same time, the springy nature of its suspension gives it a little extra spring when flying off the various ramps in the game. While its speed leaves something to be desired, its acceleration and (especially) launch are both sky-high, allowing for more momentum and thus hang time. This can be had at a respectable 93,000 CR at the Autoshow.

7 Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020

It's probably not a great idea to send this car zipping across rocky offroad terrain, but it's a great choice for flying off-ramps on or close to roads. This beauty can accelerate from a standstill to 60 mph in just 2.4 seconds, making those inevitable second and third tries for Danger Signs more bearable.

Factor in its fairly lightweight nature as well as its wicked speed and launch — and the Ultima 1020 is a no-brainer when shooting for the upper realm of the Danger Sign leaderboards. This car can be obtained by reaching Tier 4 in Horizon Life: The Drag Strip.

6 Toyota #1T100 Baja Truck

This is a fan favorite when it comes to chaotic online skirmishes, given its versatility, solid build, and its ability to handle rugged conditions. But this Toyota Baja truck also excels in spending ample time in the air.

It's perfectly equipped for offroad chaos, which means it can handle the hills, bumps, and cliffs that often litter these areas. With a near-perfect launch stat and solid acceleration, it can also gather speed and momentum very quickly. Pick this truck up at the Autoshow for 500,000 CR.

5 Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce

This iconic supercar can hang with the best of them when it comes to speed and is in fact the fastest Lambo production car by top speed in the Forza Horizon franchise.

With significant horsepower and tremendous acceleration and launch, players can get loads of air while starting fairly close to the target ramp. This also makes it ideal in hilly areas that aren't too rough, as it can frequently and quickly regain speed when landing. This coveted car can't be had at the Autoshow but can be rewarded from a Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin.

4 Bugatti Chiron

This 2018 hypercar is top-tier in a number of areas and can be quite versatile — even offroad if the right tires and rally suspension are affixed to it. Its acceleration and launch are rarely matched, and it's capable of going from 0 to 100 mph in a mere 4.9 seconds.

As one might expect then, this sleek car can tackle Danger Signs in convincing fashion, as players of the Horizon Story series "The Stunt Driver" quickly find out. This vehicle would certainly shine in a car-focused action flick. Being a potent hypercar, this one isn't cheap. Players will need to save up to 2,400,000 CR to score this baby.

3 Mosler MT900S

Forza Horizon 4 Mosler MT900s danger sign jump

There's much to appreciate about this 2010 supercar, especially its ability to hit a whopping 211 mph in just over 3 seconds. This thing absolutely hits the ground running, making it a great choice for those planning on spending much time in the skies.

A fully upgraded model laced with a 6.5 V12 engine swap can hit a sky-high 294 mph, making it the second-fastest car in the game. Hitting that 3 Star distance on Danger Signs becomes a degree easier with this awesome car. Not available at the Autoshow, this Hard-to-Find vehicle can instead be redeemed via pass at the Horizon Backstage, or scored as a Forzathon Shop or Festival Playlist reward.

2 Ferrari 599XX Evolution

Not that it really needs it, but a maxed-out version of this supercar gives it the esteemed title of "fastest car in Forza Horizon 4." Naturally, this means that it's excellent for getting some wicked air, especially when launching from ramps. In fact, it can rev up to a whopping 320 mph, setting the stage for some long, exhilarating jumps.

Really, only its acceleration can be considered less-than-amazing, but its insane speed and launch tend to alleviate most of this anyway. This is a Hard-to-Find car that can be redeemed via pass at the Horizon Backstage or won as a Forzathon Shop or Festival Playlist reward.

1 Koenigsegg Agera RS

As the fastest stock production car in Forza, this sleek hypercar is about as great as it gets; and not just for epic races, but for leaping off ramps as well.

Just about all of its stats are stellar sans acceleration, though this is marginal compared to what a beast it is elsewhere. Lacing it with all-wheel drive and upgrades makes it one of the best tools for notching those coveted 3 stars for Danger Signs. Players will definitely need to save their hard-earned credits to land this one — with its steep price tag of 2,000,000 CR — but it's worth the investment.

Forza Horizon 4 was released on September 28, 2018, and is available for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
