Forza Motorsport 4 raced to consoles a few days ago, tearing up virtual tracks all around the world. It's been the top dog for Xbox 360 racing titles for a while now, and certainly impressed us out on the digital course. With great gameplay and graphics to match, it's a formidable force that can certainly compete against Gran Turismo 5 and Need for Speed: The Run.

To celebrate the launch of Forza 4, Turn 10 Studios decided to create the "World's Most Expensive Parking Lot" - a small area with over 20 million dollars worth of shiny supercars, ranging from Ferrari to McLaren and back again. Provided by the London Motor Museum, the cars entertained passer-by and car enthusiast alike for a full day, in which people could playtest the game while the weather was good (hey, it is London, after all). The cars also took to the streets of London and drove through some of the most scenic areas in a display of some good, old fashioned car-cruising passion.

To top it all of, BBC's 'Top Gear' co-presenter The Stig was at the event to oversee the vehicles. Fans of the series will know him as the helmeted, white-uniformed man without a face. For those who may not know him, think of him as the Master Chief of awesome car shows.

Here's a list of the top cars at the event, so you can add them to your shopping list for later:

  • Aston Martin DBS Coupe
  • Aston Martin Vanquish
  • Audi R8
  • Bentley Continental GT
  • Bugatti Veyron
  • Dodge Challenger 1970
  • Dodge Charger 1969 (Hemi engine)
  • Ferrari 458
  • Ferrari California
  • Ferrari Enzo
  • Jaguar E Type 1961
  • Koenigsegg CCX
  • Lamborghini Gallardo
  • Lamborghini Murcielago
  • McLaren F1
  • McLaren Mercedes 2011 SLS AMG
  • McLaren MP4 — 12C
  • Mercedes SLS AMG
  • Pagani Zonda (carbon edition)
  • Pontiac Firebird Trans-am

This list features only a small portion of the vehicles at the show, which boasted an impressive 80+ manufacturers all representing vehicles you can acquire in the game - though that unfortunately doesn't include a Warthog. Forza 4 features a massive car collection, and for enthusiasts you can increase the size of it with the purchase of a DLC Season Pass if you're willing to spend the Microsoft Points.

What do you think about the cars for the Forza 4 launch event? Is any car there your particular favorite? Have you picked up the game yet and starting building your very own garage?
