Fortnite's Fortnitemares Escape Rooms event is composed of numerous tasks that players can complete in order to earn a variety of rewards. While many fans will be quite familiar with the process of addressing tasks in Fortnite, things are a bit unusual with this batch. Specifically, players must use a special website in order to check the Fortnitemares Escape Rooms event tasks and monitor their progress, and this guide is here to assist with that endeavor.
Fortnite: Fortnitemares Escape Rooms Event Sign-Up
To participate in this event, players should navigate to the Fortnitemares Escape Rooms website, click on Log In, and enter the information associated with their Epic Games account. Fans will then be taken to the first Escape Room, and they should click on Let's Go before directing their attention to the three tasks that appear below the room. These are the tasks that must be completed in order to finish Escape Room 1, claim its reward, and unlock Escape Room 2, and Fortnite players can click on Check Stats to keep track of their progress.
To note, it can take up to one hour for a player's in-game activities to be reflected on the Fortnitemares Escape Rooms website. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that these tasks can only be completed in Fortnite's Zero Build and Battle Royale game modes. While it is not particularly difficult to adhere to that requirement, fans that have not received credit for their actions after the aforementioned hour has passed should confirm that they are accessing a suitable game mode.
Once a fan has completed Escape Room 1, they should click on the second box below the room to view the Escape Room 2 tasks. This process should be repeated for Escape Rooms 3 and 4, and players have until November 1 at 1:59am EDT to finish everything. Notably, Fortnite's Fortnitemares Quests will also become unavailable at that time, and fans should make sure to check those offerings through the in-game Quest tab.
Fortnite: Fortnitemares Escape Rooms Event Rewards
With respect to the rewards that players can earn by completing Fortnitemares Escape Rooms event tasks, there are four, and the vast majority are cosmetic items in Fortnite. As previously noted, each of these rewards are granted when one of the Escape Rooms is completed, and here is a complete list of what is up for grabs:
- Escape Room 1: Spoooooky Emote
- Escape Room 2: 20,000 XP
- Escape Room 3: OctoEye Spray
- Escape Room 4: Niterave Wrap
