As many gamers are likely well aware, Fortnite continues to evolve due to Epic Games regularly updating the title with fresh items such as the forthcoming addition of Balloons, and the current Halloween event for the game, Fortnitemares 2018. Of course, with changes constantly being made to the free-to-play Battle Royale title, there are bound to be unforeseen issues that crop up in the process. Speaking of which, the developer recently discovered a problem with the game's Zoey skin, and has decided to temporarily disable it until a fix is found.

According to the testaments of many players in Fortnite's official subreddit, there had been a glitch related to the Zoey skin that turns one invisible to some players whenever it's used on the battlefield. While the cosmetic has been disabled for the time being, Epic has yet to state if it has an idea as to when the item will be enabled for fans of the free-to-play Battle Royale title to use once more.

As one might expect, the aforementioned Zoey skin bug is far from the first issue in Fortnite to affect one's visibility of their opponents while playing the game. At the beginning of this year, in fact, there was a Fatal Fields map issue that allowed players to glitch under the ground, rendering them completely unseen to anyone. This led to players exploiting the issue quite frequently, which eventually brought the problem to Epic's attention.

All things considered, if history is any indication of the amount of time required to fix the invisibility glitch related to the Zoey skin, then Epic shouldn't have the cosmetic disabled for too long. After all, similar issues have made their way into Fortnite, only to be squashed relatively quickly by the developer. At any rate, we will simply have to wait and see when Zoey officially makes her return to action.

Fortnite is available now for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
