The Fortnite 14.20 patch is now live on all platforms and adds in-game events, new challenges, new Team Rumble modes, and new Marvel Nexus War content. After previously taking on Doctor Doom and Iron Man, players can now face an enraged Wolverine located in Weeping Woods.

Wolverine is a dangerous opponent, but players who are able to take him down will earn his claws with special abilities. Players may have already tried his powers in the Marvel Knockout limited-time mode, but if not, Wolverine has some surprising moves that slice through anything. Wolverine's claws allow players to dash forward to cover a large distance while doing damage, and his spin attack will devastate anything in the vicinity.

The patch also leaked a new in-game skin for Wolverine. His Logan skin variant features Wolverine with no suit, only his signature white tank top and dog tags. The skin resembles Wolverine in the X-Men movies, played by Hugh Jackman for the last 20 years. The Logan skin is not available yet, but will most likely be included as a reward for a challenge. The Logan skin is the third Wolverine skin, the others being his classic blue and yellow X-Men suit, and his alternate brown and yellow suit.

Along with new Marvel content, the Fortnite patch will also add limited-time modes. Snipers: Low Gravity, Solid Gold, Siphon, and Unvaulted are all returning to the Fortnite playlist. An all-new LTM called "Takeover" will also be available, where players defend outposts with Marvel superpowers with even more Marvel powers dropping from the sky. Players may also be entering these matches with an upgraded Battle Bus, as a new startup sound for it has leaked.

Fortnite is celebrating its third birthday with new challenges and themed rewards. Fortnite is also launching a crossover event with Rocket League starting on September 26th. The Llama-Rama event celebrates Rocket League going free-to-play with challenges that reward players with both Rocket League and Fortnite items. Players can earn the Battle Bus as a playable vehicle in Rocket League and also earn a Rocket League car back bling for Fortnite.

The update also features new skins and accessories that will be available in the shop. Along with the Rocket League and Fortnite birthday items, there are also three mythical warrior skins with matching accessories that have leaked. Players can download the update and hop in to complete challenges and finally take on Wolverine.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and mobile devices, with plans for PS5 and Xbox Series X support as each console launches.
