A couple of new questlines are now available for players to complete in Fortnite, and one of them, which is dubbed “Hop Awake,” is initiated by speaking with an NPC named Nitehare. This character can be found at FN Radio to the east of Craggy Cliffs, and their first task is to bounce three times on tires without touching the ground. For those fans that are having trouble locating some suitable tires in Fortnite, this guide is here to help.

Where to Bounce on Tires in Fortnite

While there are numerous tires scattered across Fortnite’s map that can be used for this challenge, players that are looking for a specific recommendation are advised to visit the gas station that is between Corny Crops and Lazy Lake. Indeed, there is a stack of tires right next to the gas pumps at that location, pressed against the wooden fence, and fans should feel free to jump on them. To make sure that all is clear, this location is highlighted on the map that is below.

Another good spot for bouncing on tires is the gas station that is just west of Steamy Stacks. More specifically, there is a pile of tires sitting directly behind the building, and players will need to pass through a chainlink fence in order to access it. Notably, the building itself can make it slightly difficult to get three consecutive bounces, and fans may want to pull out their favorite harvesting tools in Fortnite and bring down a wall or two.

How to Bounce 3 Times on Tires Without Touching the Ground in Fortnite

With a couple of tire locations established, it may be worth saying a few words about how to bounce on them three times without touching the ground. Quite simply, Fortnite players should jump onto a stack and then make sure that their characters are positioned so that they will continually fall back down onto the tires. After getting a third consecutive boost from the tires, fans should see that they have completed the challenge and earned the associated reward.

With respect to what that reward is, players that finish the “bounce three times on tires without touching the ground” challenge will receive 30,000 XP. While this is not a tremendous amount, it will definitely be helpful to those fans that are working on Fortnite’s Season 8 Battle Pass. These players can also continue focusing on the Hop Awake questline to earn even more XP.
