A new Kepler Portal opened in Fortnite earlier this week, and the sounds that could be heard inside of it hinted at a potential crossover between the battle royale sensation and the Alien franchise. This crossover has now been definitively confirmed, with both Ripley and the Xenomorph making their way through the Zero Point. However, players will not currently be able to locate these characters on the map, and they will instead need to turn their attention to Fortnite's item shop.

Indeed, skins modeled after Ripley and the Xenomorph are now available for purchase through the in-game shop, and they can be obtained in several configurations. For players that are interested in both skins, the Ripley & Xenomorph Bundle, which is available for 2,220 V-Bucks, is likely the best option. The skins are also being sold separately, with Ripley costing 1,500 V-Bucks and Xenomorph costing 1,600 V-Bucks, for fans that only want one of them.

Additionally, some players may want to purchase the new Space Gear Bundle, which features the Cheyenne Dropship Glider, the P-5000 Power Loader Arm Pickaxe, and the Burst Case Scenario Emote, alongside Fortnite's Alien skins . Of the three items, it is perhaps the Emote that will be of the most interest, as it is a comedic recreation of one of the most iconic moments from the Alien series. For those players that are curious, this Bundle comes in at 1,500 Bucks, which is 800 V-Bucks less than it costs to buy all of the items separately.

While some fans may be disappointed to learn that the Xenomorph is not currently appearing as a boss in Fortnite, it is possible that there is more planned for this beloved extraterrestrial. Certainly, many players would love to see an official event centered around Alien vs. Predator, and that does not seem like an impossibility with the Predator already taking up residence on the map. Such an event has not been confirmed, though, and fans should manage their expectations accordingly.

That said, there is sure to be a lot of Alien on Predator violence, and vice versa, now that there are skins modeled after both characters in the game. For the uninitiated, Fortnite's Predator skin is obtained by defeating the character, and it can be found wandering around in Stealthy Stronghold. There is also an Emote associated with the skin, which players can earn by equipping the cosmetic and visiting Predator's apartment in Hunter's Haven.

Fortnite is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
