In order to complete one of the Fortnite Season 3 Week 9 challenges, which went live just today, players will need to stoke three Campfires at Camp Cod. Before fans can do this, though, they must know exactly where Camp Cod is located, and indeed providing that information, as well as the locations of the individual Campfires that can be stoked, is the precise purpose of this guide.

To first answer the question of "where is Camp Cod in Fortnite," fans should simply look to the southeast of Misty Meadows for the named location. More specifically, Camp Cod is found on a reasonably-sized landmass that sits just off the southeast coast of the map, and players that are looking to complete this new weekly challenge should feel free to drop in at this location at the start of a match.

Now that the location of Camp Cod has been thoroughly established, some players may want a little more instruction on exactly where to find the Campfires themselves. Fortunately, several of the Campfires at Camp Cod are very easy to locate, and Fortnite fans that reference the following map should have little trouble stoking three of them and completing this new Season 3 Week 9 challenge:

where is camp cod in fortnite

  • 1: At a campsite with umbrellas in the middle of the island.
  • 2: Directly south of the chain fence.
  • 3: On the dock that protrudes off of the east side of the island.

With respect to how players should go about stoking the Campfires at Camp Cod, each one requires 30 Wood. As such, fans should make sure to chop down some trees and harvest a reasonable amount of the required resource before they navigate to the locations indicated on the map above. Luckily, there is no shortage of trees to be found at Camp Cod, though there is sure to be competition for them in these early days of Week 9, as many players will be working to complete this challenge.

Once a fan has stoked three Campfires at Camp Cod, they may want to head north to Catty Corner, as that is the site of another Week 9 challenge. In this one, players are tasked with fueling a Vehicle in Fortnite, and indeed fans will find an assortment of cars and gas pumps at this location. As with the Camp Cod challenge, the one that takes place at Catty Corner awards 35,000 XP, giving players the chance to make quite a bit of progress on the Season 3 Battle Pass fairly quickly.

Fortnite is available now on Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions in development.
