In celebration of the third anniversary of Fortnite's battle royale mode, Epic Games is hosting an in-game event called the Birthday Bash. At the center of this event is a series of special challenges, and a couple of them can only be completed by visiting the Birthday Cakes that are now appearing on Fortnite's map. Fortunately, there are many Birthday Cakes that players can use for these challenges, and this guide will detail their locations.

To note, Fortnite's Birthday Bash challenges will be available until Thursday, October 1, giving fans just under one week to complete them all. While this should be more than enough time, it is worth mentioning that there is some additional incentive for finishing every one of these tasks. Specifically, that incentive is a Cake Back Bling, and players that want it should make sure to prioritize the completion of the Birthday Bash challenges.

With respect to what Fortnite players must do upon locating these Birthday Cakes, one of the relevant challenges focuses around dancing in front of them. Certainly many fans will be very familiar with this type of task, and it simply requires that emotes be used while standing near to the sweet treats. Players that do this in front of 10 Birthday Cakes will be rewarded with a Cakey Wrap and will be one step closer to the special Back Bling.

The other Birthday Cake-related challenge asks players to gain health or shields from the deserts, and this is just as easy as the previously detailed task. Indeed, all that a fan must do here is interact with the cake slices that are found around the central Birthday Cakes, and they should be able to gain the requisite 50 health or shields in no time at all. This will ultimately grant 80,000 XP as a reward, helping players climb the tiers of Fortnite's Season 4 Battle Pass.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions in development.
