For the first seven weeks of Fortnite's Season 5, players were able to find a hidden battle star after they had completed all of the week's challenges. However, Week 8 changed things up by introducing hidden banners, which, like the hidden battle stars, can be found on the battle royale map by deciphering loading screen clues. Just like last week, players who complete Week 9's challenges will have another hidden banner to find, and here is where to find it.

To find the hidden banner for Fortnite's Season 5 Week 9, players will want to go a little southeast of Shifty Shafts. On the east side of the river, just south of the bridge, they will find a rock wall. Using building materials, players should be able to walk along this rock wall and find the hidden banner. Here is the hidden banner's exact location on the battle royale map:

For those that prefer a video guide, we recommend this one put together by YouTuber Tabor Hill:

Before players go looking for the Season 5 Week 9 hidden banner in Fortnite, they should first be sure that they've completed all nine weeks of challenges available in the game so far. This will include completing a wide variety of tasks, but with enough patience and perseverance, Fortnite players should be able to complete all nine weeks of challenges eventually.

Players may get hung up on the Season 5 Week 9 challenges specifically, like the one to visit all the Stone Heads or following the Shifty Shafts treasure map. There are also some challenges this week that are more skill-based, like getting assault rifle eliminations or taking out opponents in Tomato Temple, so players will need to keep that in mind as well.

Regardless, using guides and practicing should help players eventually complete all of the Season 5 Week 9 challenges in Fortnite and add yet another hidden banner to their collection.

Fortnite is out now in early access for iOS, Android, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
