Season 10 has been a really amazing season for Fortnite. They added some fun crossover events to some sweet free DLC with PlayStation's August Instant Game Collection; players also got a new update a couple of days ago that added Starry Suburbs to the map, updated controller aiming, a new weapon, and added a new practice locale called The Combine. Along with this v10.40 update, Week 9 of Season 10 has started, giving players a new Battle Star and weekly challenges. Here's a quick guide to get that Battle Star.

The Challenges

To be eligible to get the star in the first place, players will have to complete three of the weekly challenges first. This week's challenges are:

  • Land on the Week 9 Bullseyes
  • Hit 50 Weak Points while Harvesting
  • Get an elimination with a Sniper Rifle once
  • Hit easy firing range target once
  • Complete the skydiving course over Fatal Fields after jumping from the Battle Bus four times
  • Hit 10 Headshots
  • Destroy 2 Loot Carriers from 50m away

Once three of these are completed, players will be able to hunt for the Battle Star. This should take too long so players should check out the Fortnite streams that will be going on a TwitchCon.

Where is the Week 9 Battle Star?

Fornite included a sneaky hint in The Combine that tells players where the Battle Star is this week; in the wall is carved a Tomatohead wearing a crown. To find the Battle Star, players will need to track down the Tomatohead that is located between the southernmost part of Lazy Lagoon and the Pressure Plant.

Fortnite Battle Star Location

Once players have done at least three challenges, the Battle Star will appear in this location and players can collect it and the boost to their Battle Pass. After that, players have loads of new Fortnite fun to look forward to, including a possible crossover with Are You Afraid of the Dark?

Fortnite is available now for PlayStation 4, Android, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, iOS, Microsoft Windows, and Macintosh operating systems.
