Without a doubt, plenty of Fortnite fans have been enjoying the developer Epic Games' addition of All-Terrain Karts (ATKs) to the free-to-play Battle Royale portion of the multiplayer sandbox survival title ever since the beginning of Season 5. However, it appears as if the studio has now had to remove all of the vehicles in the game after discovering a bug relating to both the Shopping Cart and ATK.

As seen in the tweet below from the official Fortnite Twitter account, Epic Games has stated that the disabling of Shopping Carts and ATKs will only last "temporarily" until it gets to the bottom of what's causing the bug to occur. The developer declared that it would provide an update to players as soon as the issue has been resolved, and vehicles are successfully restored in the game's map.

While Fortnite's disabling of Shopping Carts isn't a new phenomenon, its removal alongside ATKs is particularly problematic due to the fact that players are required to “jump through Flaming Hoops with a Shopping Cart or ATK” to complete all of Week 4’s Challenges. That said, though, Weekly Challenges don’t expire until Season 5 ends toward the end of next month, so even if vehicles aren’t brought back immediately into the game, players will still have a chance after the bug is fixed down the line.

Although the sidelining of Shopping Carts and ATKs might impact some Fortnite fans' strategies, their removal for the time being could force players into becoming successful after trying different techniques new to them and relying on other methods to secure a Victory Royale. However, it's safe to say that the majority of players would be incredibly happy to see vehicles return sooner rather than later, especially when it comes to completing the aforementioned challenges.

Fortnite is available now for iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
