With the Raven Skin and “Feathered Flyer” glider releasing this week in Fortnite, players are eagerly gathering V-Bucks to purchase these new cosmetic items. Unfortunately, due to the sheer volume of players trying to purchase V-Bucks, the ability to do so was down for some Mac and PC players.

Fortnite sent out a Tweet saying the team was looking into the issue.

This Tweet was sent out about thirty minutes after the Raven Skin and “Feathered Glider” went live and it seems like every Fortnite player went to purchase V-Bucks, which seems like the reason why the store was compromised. The Raven Skin will set players back 2,000 V-Bucks, but is a small price to pay if players are into a more gothic aesthetic. If that’s not a player’s jam, they are able to purchase six other items from the Shop, as seen below.

Recently, Fortnite has Tweeted that the ability to purchase V-Bucks is back up and running on Mac and PC, but there is no official word from Fortnite’s Twitter account on if that ability is back up or even affected console players. Most of the reports about the inability to purchase V-Bucks were from Mac and PC players, however it seems that console players could still be affected.

Either way, make sure to keep on the lookout for updates, as Fortnite Tweets out if the servers are having any issues or if there are any updates to the game as soon as they happen. Epic Game keeps an updated website of how the game is running and if there are any issues so players can keep an eye on that here.

One thing that players seemingly love about Fortnite is the fact that Epic Games, Fortnite’s developer, is constantly updating and adding new things into the game. Epic Games is always responding to players with any issues they have, including the shotgun bug that prevented critical or correct damage. Epic Games really keeps an eye out for the fanbase and seems to make sure that players are happy before any changes are implemented. This always seems to go over well with players and the constant updating to the game really seems to keep Fortnite fresh and playable for all.

Fortnite is available now for iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
