Fortnite continues to be a sales juggernaut for Epic Games, thanks in large part to its Battle Royale mode. Part of the appeal comes from how quickly the game evolves and updates, as Epic continues to add new content. After a short delay, Epic Games has finally released update 3.3, which not only adds a bunch of fixes but also new content for both Battle Royale and Save the World game modes as well. The patch notes for update 3.3 also give players

After being announced earlier this week, remote explosives have finally been added to Fortnite's popular PvP mode Battle Royale. Players treat these devices like C4, sticking them to objects and remotely detonating them to not only take out other players but topple buildings as well. In addition to remote explosives, Epic has also hidden supply llamas across the map, which serve as another form of treasure chest or supply drop. Though they could be anywhere, players have reported seeing them appear more in heavily wooded areas.

Save the World players are also getting a wealth of content with this update as the Spring It On! questline has received additional tasks inspired by St. Patrick's Day. In Luck of the Storm, players will be looking for explosive treasure, track mythical creatures like the storm leprechaun, collecting golden shamrocks and much more. In addition to event tickets, completing the quest line unlocks one of the new St. Patrick's Day heroes like Battle Hound Jonsey, Luck Demolisher Wildcat, or Highland Warrior Wildcat. The big spring it on gold prize in the event store is the Shamrock Reclaimer Outlander hero.

For players who want another way to play Battle Royale, Epic recently revealed an iOS version of the popular online mode. Debut footage of the game was taken on an iPhone X and features every feature and ability players have access to on the PC or console version. Movement is largely handled by sliding the left thumb across the lower left area of the screen, while shooting, looting, building and other actions are done through tapping areas on the rest of the screen. Interest players can sign up right now for a chance to test the game.
