Fortnite manages to stay fresh by constantly rolling out new hotfixes that tweak different bits of content in the game. From weapon selection and rebalancing, to in-game events, to updated locations and gameplay mechanics, the battle royale is anything but stagnant. This especially rings true today, with the latest Fortnite update adding a significant amount of content.

Epic Games' ever-popular free-to-play title is entering its fourth week of Chapter 3 Season 2. In the first few weeks of its latest season, the battle royale raised funds alongside Xbox to help the people of Ukraine in the ongoing real-world conflict. At the end of the fundraising period, it was revealed Fortnite and Xbox raised an incredible $144 million for the European country.

Detailed on the official Fortnite website, the v20.10 hotfix's biggest addition is Battle for Condo Canyon. Like the last update patch, which added the Battle for Daily Bugle, players are once again tasked with defeating the IO to reclaim one of the islands POIs. The battle is expected to play out in the same way the one for Daily Bugle did, in that players must fight back three waves of IO Guards while watching out for the looming Huntmaster Saber. However, players will have some weapons returning from the vault to aid them in the latest skirmish on the island.

Fortnite's hotfix is reintroducing its popular Jetpacks to the battle royale. First added to the game back in 2018, Fortnite's Jetpacks have been one of fan's favorite mobility items since being introduced. Lying dormant for an extended period of time, Jetpacks are back with some much-needed improvements. Airborne players can now hover and strafe when aiming down sights, a feature many fans desired in its last iteration. Players can find Jetpacks along the walls of IO Blimps.

In addition to Jetpacks, Fortnite's Egg Launcher is making its return just in time for Spring. While its unclear if the title's Spring Breakout event will be happening this year, the Easter-themed weapon is making an appearance, and can be found in Chests and on the ground. Accompanying the Egg Launcher are Bouncy Eggs, which players can use for a low-gravity effect while restoring a small amount of shield. Players will be able to find Bouncy Eggs on the ground across the entire island.

Fortnite's latest update patch adds several unique returning items to bolster its expansive selection of weaponry. In addition to the MK-Seven Assault Rifle getting fully-funded, players have plenty of options when it comes to reclaiming Condo Canyon.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
