The Midseason Drops are now available in Fortnite, so players can, at last, start working towards unlocking them. When Chapter 4 Season 1 started and the Battle Pass was first made available, Fortnite fans got to explore all the unlockable tabs that they would gain access to throughout the season.

One of these tabs was the Midseason Drops tab, and it contained alternative styles for five different Battle Pass skins. There was no release date on them but from their name, players concluded that it would be at some point between January and February. How To Unlock Midseason Drop Alternative Styles

There are five different Battle Pass skins that will benefit from the Midseason Drop rewards - Selene, Massai, Doom Slayer, Dusty, and Nezumi; all of these skins will receive an additional styled look that players can choose to wear during their Fortnite ventures.

To view all of the Midseason Drop styles, players have to login on Fortnite, go to their Battle Pass tab and select the Midseason Drops section. Selene's style - Sunlit Selene - is the first one to become available, but they will gradually unlock each week that goes.

Players can also track their progress in the Midseason Drops section in the Quests menu.

The requirement to unlock each style is to simply earn ten account levels. This shouldn't be a difficult feat for those that can play regularly and complete all of their weekly quests. However, it's not possible to wait until all of the Midseason Drops are accessible to then earn ten levels and unlock the five of them at once. This means that the second drop will only be accessible after the player has already increased their account level by ten and unlocked the first drop. So, it should take a minimum of about five weeks of playing and 50 earned account levels to unlock Midseason Drops.

Unfortunately, the new weekly quests system made these quests temporary, and they can't be accumulated and done at the end of the season - it had never been this way since the start of Fortnite. This decision has made it significantly harder for players to complete the Battle Pass since weekly quests were a big source of XP income. And now, they'll only be worth it for players that can play the game actively.

Thankfully, completing a Midseason Drop quest will not only reward players with a style but also with 25,000 XP, which will definitely help boost them and increase their level.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices.
