Fortnite Season 5 is now well underway, giving players lots of new loot and cosmetics to collect with the "Worlds Collide" theme. But those who aren't satisfied with the number of collectibles on offer (or just went to get their hands on all available loot) may soon be able to unlock a brand new look for their characters, courtesy of Twitch Prime.

Twitch Prime, the subscription service for the livestreaming platform, offers subscribers several bits of loot every month. According to prominent Fortnite leaker Fortrisen, another Fortnite Twitch Prime pack is on the way and it will include a neon green and carbon black Archetype skin, the Servo glider, the Caliper pickaxe, and the Paradigm back bling to match. These cosmetics - including the Archetype skin and the Servo glider - were previously uncovered by dataminers, but Fortrisen's tweet is the first indication that they would be offered as part of Twitch Prime.

At this point, it's unclear exactly when this Twitch Prime Pack of Fortnite loot would be released, and Fortrisen's tweet makes no mention of a specific date. However, many in the community are estimating that it will be released next month, as part of the August Twitch Prime drops.

The first Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack was released in March and included Sub Commando skins for Battle Royale and Save The World players among other things. The second Fortnite Twitch Prime pack was released two months later in May and included the Trailblazer Outfit, the Tenderized Pickaxe, as well as some back bling and an emote. When August rolls around in just two days, it will have been almost three months since the last pack was released, meaning that Twitch Prime subscribers are just about due another one.

Twitch and Fortnite have a mutually beneficial partnership, meaning it's in both parties' interest to keep releasing Twitch Prime Packs. Fortnite has become a huge success partly off of the back of Twitch streamers who have put the game in front of their huge audiences and have made it seem like an exciting prospect. This includes people like Ninja who broke records when he streamed the game with superstar rapper Drake. The Prime Pack gives streamers another reason to enthuse about the title and keep people talking about it.

Likewise, offering up Fortnite loot gives the game's 125 million players an added incentive to become a paying Twitch subscriber. So, while Fortnite fans may be excited for the third Twitch Prime Pack to drop, Epic Games and Twitch will be looking forward to it, too.

Fortnite is available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, Xbox One, and iOS devices. An Android release is planned for this summer.
