Another major Fortnite in-game event may be happening soon, if a new leak is anything to go buy. Several datamined files hint that a new concert headlined by rapper Travis Scott will be held in-game soon. No official confirmation or concert dates have been announced yet, but don't be surprised to hear more details from Epic Games about the next Fortnite event this upcoming week.

The leak starts with a recently decrypted datamine from Fortnite's latest patch revealing a poster. The poster shows what looks like an orbiting planet above the Fortnite map, as well as a music symbol. What the planet means isn't immediately apparent, but the music symbol and map hint that a concert will be playing at Fortnite's Sweaty Sands location soon. This poster is planned to be posted all across the Fortnite map eventually.

The leak goes on, however, as a planet texture and audio file have also been found. The planet, dubbed Astroworld, is bright pink and features brightly lit buildings like it's some sort of festival planet. The leak claims that Astroworld will appear in the sky and slowly move closer to the Fortnite map until it arrives. Even more exciting is that when players hover over the planet in the sky with their cursor, an audio file will play.

This decrypted audio file is what leads Fortnite leakers to say the upcoming concert will be for Travis Scott. It is, in fact, a portion of Travis Scott's song "Highest in the Room." Putting the pieces together, this Astroworld music planet will slowly come to the world of Fortnite, bringing with it a Travis Scott concert.

A Travis Scott concert has been long-rumored for Fortnite. Files related to a Travis Scott cosmetic set, as well as a leaked photo of a Travis Scott skin were both leaked in February and March respectively. This concert has obviously been in the works at Epic Games for a significant amount of time.

Fortnite players, as usual, can simply sit back and enjoy the spectacle that's likely to be coming. Over the coming days or weeks, players will likely start to see the posters across the map. Then will come the mysterious pink light in the sky. From there, things will only get more interesting in Fortnite. Players who recall the Marshmello concert will already know how fun an in-game concert cane be. Epic has likely prepared something even more special for this time around.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and mobile devices.
