Fortnite's Chapter 2 Season 6 is now in full swing, and players are uncovering new lore and unlocking new skins. One theory that is gaining momentum, thanks to a number of hints, is that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson might be one of The Seven. The mysterious group have returned to Fortnite after appearing sporadically throughout the game's narrative. While little is known about the organization, members of the group have driven parts of the Fortnite narrative significantly. With The Rock dropping a cryptic video on social media, his connection to The Seven could be real.

Each of the members of The Seven has been integral to the overall plot of Fortnite, and come around at key points in Jonesy's narrative, as he now tries to bring down his former employer, the Imagined Order. The latest member of The Seven, The Foundation, made his presence known right off the bat in Season 6, beating up Jonesy before agreeing to cooperate with him to find someone named "Geno." Fans have been drawing connections between The Foundation and The Rock, but now the theory is really picking up steam.

The Rock, as if he was cutting a promo from his WWE days, jumped onto Instagram talking about the importance of March 16th, the launch day of Season 6 in Fortnite. While explaining how the day has significance, he goes on to talk about about getting stronger and continuing to grow. The Rock is being intentionally vague with these statements before dramatically pausing and calling this process "The Foundation." Raising a signature eyebrow before the video ends, this doesn't seem like some kind of workout motivation post. The Rock's cryptic message has fans buzzing about the connection to Fortnite.

Please note that the following video has some offensive language.

It was a few months ago that The Rock teased a Fortnite skin when he responded to a tweet that made a connection between a parade float of the wrestler and Fortnite. When asked if the float should be the basis of a Fortnite skin, The Rock responded by saying "way ahead of you" with a winky face emoji. It seems that plans for The Foundation could have been already in motion, just fitting the collaboration into the overall narrative took time.

Season 6 is still just getting underway, so there is plenty of time to tease this storyline out. Many fans are simply trying to unlock their Lara Croft skin from the Battle Pass right now, so thinking about how The Foundation is going to factor into everything is not even on some folks' radar. The evidence seems to be in front of players though, so some kind of official reveal can't be far off.

Fortnite is currently available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
