Fortnite Fan Designs Amazing Snow Map, Epic Games Responds

fortnite-battle-royale-minigun-update

While Fortnite Battle Royale has a lot to offer its fanbase, it’s always nice to see something new in the competitive game; to that effect, seeing that Ninja and KingRichard have broken their own kill record is inspiring. But some players choose to express their love for the game in other ways, having taken to the official Reddit to share their ideas.

Redditor BeeshaBoosha did just that, sharing a new Fortnite map of personal design. Labeled with areas such as Slippery Slopes, Hazy Harbour, Peaceful Pond, Mazy Mountains, Curious Caves, Risky Runaway, Wasted Waters, and Truckers’ Trove, this is BeeshaBoosha’s personal take on a new snow map. Moreover, there is a train track that divides the map. It is rather impressive, and most of the Fortnite community thought so, even community coordinator Chris Attalus.

His reply was simple and sweet: “Loving the creativity behind this, super rad! Thanks for sharing. Also, huge +1 to Trains :).” His final comment about trains has made some Fortnite players believe that he is suggesting a map involving trains is inbound, but this is, at this point, just speculation. While it would definitely be an interesting addition to the game like the recent minigun update, this comment does not confirm this as fact. Check out the map design below:

It seems like a fun, chaotic map, as each area also has an interesting description. One of them – the Truckers’ Trove – is described as “based on Ice Road Truckers – alllll the trucks.” Another, the Hazy Harbour, is described as a “foggy harbour with cargo and a big ship to build on.” It would be interesting to see how each area and the train affected the competitive nature of Fortnite – if it were only a real map.

With that being said, it is clear that Fortnite players have unique ways of showing off their love of the game. If not designing maps, they’re breaking records. In fact, watching Ninja miss breaking a kill record is pretty hilarious. Hopefully, the community continues with the contributions, as each instance extends the life of Fortnite.

Fortnite Battle Royale is available for free on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
