As many diehard basketball fans are surely aware, the NBA Finals officially begin tomorrow, with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers taking on Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors in a seven game series to determine which is the supreme team of the 2017-2018 season. In order to celebrate this event, it seems as if Epic Games has some basketball-themed skins and cosmetics on the way for its wildly popular multiplayer sandbox survival shooter Fortnite.

As seen in the images below, Fortnite fans can get a look at several forthcoming skins and cosmetics coming to the game datamined by the Twitter account known as TwoEpicBuddies. The aforementioned NBA-related cosmetics are two skins offering the ability to wear basketball jerseys and shorts on a male and female character, a basketball backboard acting as a pickaxe, and a basketball backboard being used as a glider. Plus, there's a basketball emote that lets players spin a ball on their index fingers.

In addition to the NBA-themed cosmetics, there are also two new superhero-esque skins with corresponding pickaxes and gliders – one set is related to plant-based designs, while the other is owl-centric. What's more is that another pair of duds will revolve around burglar garb for a male and female character with matching cosmetics coming in the form of a set of Backbling burglary tools and a safe.

While the addition of all of these Fortnite cosmetics will surely delight fans of the free-to-play Battle Royale portion of the game, there's currently no telling when exactly they will be added to the title. After all, it's safe to say that one of the main priorities Epic Games is focused on at the moment is dealing with the "invisible items" bug.

All things considered, Epic Games has definitely remained on point when it comes to providing Fortnite fans with an impressive amount of content output, which is undoubtedly one of the major reasons why people keep coming back to the title for more. Certainly, the aforementioned cosmetics offer ample reasons for fans to keep playing. And with Shopping Carts now live as an item, it's safe to say that plenty of Fortnite players will be jumping back into action yet again, even if it's only to give the new mode of transporation a whirl.

Fortnite is available now in early access for iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
