The superhero-themed Season 4 of Fortnite Battle Royale rages on even with the week 5 challenges getting a slight delay. Players looking for new things to do in the game will want to log in today as Update 4.3 has arrived, adding a lot of new content for fans to check out and explore for both Battle Royale and Save the World. After teasing players with a big coming soon label for the past few days, Epic Games has finally added transportation into the game by introducing the shopping cart into the popular PvP mode.

Affectionately known as the Shopping Cart update, 4.3 also features a number of quality of life enhancements for the entire Fortnite experience as well. For Battle Royale players, the biggest piece of this release is the shopping cart item, which can be found and used as a transportation vehicle to roll around the map solo or with a friend. While drivers can't shoot, passengers are able to use weapons. Fall damage is still active while in a shopping cart, so players should be careful not to go careening over a steep cliff.

In addition to new modes of transportation, Battle Royale also received a few other features in this update as well including an updated UI that allows players to track their challenges in-game, two limited time modes to play which include Teams of 20 and Blitz V2, and new consumable mushrooms which spawn randomly around the map and can be eaten to gain 5 shield.

For fans of the PvE Save the World mode, Epic has added the second set of quests for the Blockbuster Event as well as the newest mythic hero, 64 additional Skill Points for players to earn, two free Upgrade Llamas only available for a limited time on the last day of the month, and a whole slew of hotfixes to better improve the mode.

Unfortunately, not all the news regarding Fortnite is good these days as its chief competitor and rival, Bluehole Games, has decided to go ahead and file suit against Epic Games over Battle Royale similarities. The lawsuit was filed specifically against Epic's Korean branch, asking the court there to determine whether the similarities between Fortnite and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds constitutes copyright infringement. Since Fortnite's arrival last fall, Bluehole vice president Chang Han Kim hasn't been shy about commenting about the Fortnite experience, even going as far as hinting at potential legal action in the future.
