Fortnite’s Fortnitemares 2021 event is now officially underway, and it features a number of new quests for players to complete. One of those quests instructs fans to land while riding a Witch’s Broomstick, though exactly where that Mythic item can be found is not directly addressed. For those players that may be having some trouble tracking down a Witch Broom in Fortnite, this guide is here to point them in the right direction and assist with finishing the associated quest.
Fortnite: Witch Broom Location
To get right to it, there are two ways to go about obtaining a Witch Broom: find one as Floor Loot somewhere on Fortnite’s map or eliminate an opponent that already has one. Since players do not have a great deal of control over the second of those two options, focusing on the first seems most useful. Quite simply, Floor Loot refers to the items that spawn on the ground, and fans that are looking for a Witch Broom will thus want to target areas with a lot of it.
For instance, the Convergence at the center of the map, which is now home to the Cube Town point of interest, is a great place to look for a Witch’s Broomstick. Players can also check the Sideways in Fortnite for one of these items, as there is typically quite a bit of Floor Loot within those strange areas. That said, it is important to reiterate that the Broom is a Mythic item, and fans may not find one every time that they visit these locations.
Fortnite: How to Land While Riding a Witch’s Broomstick
Once a player has picked up a Witch Broom, they will be ready to tackle the aforementioned challenge that centers around landing it. This is a very easy thing to do, as it simply requires Fortnite fans to use the item and then direct it toward the ground. When that has been done five times, players should receive indication that they have completed the Fortnitemares quest and earned their 2,800 XP reward.
Fans will also be one step closer to completing the Fortnitemares 2021 punchcard at that point, as it contains several challenges that require Fortnitemares quests to be completed. While it should be quite easy to knock out those simple challenges, there are some more elaborate ones to be found on the punchard. Indeed, players will need to finish the entirety of the Ariana Grande punchcard, the Dark Jonesy punchard, and more before everything is said and done.
