Fortnite season 8 week 8 is here, which means two things. First, season 8 of Epic Games' wildly popular battle royale is almost over, and secondly, there is also a new secret banner to collect. Following the newly established trend of the past few loading screens, hints for Fortnite season 8 week 8's secret banner location are more difficult to decipher than they were at the beginning of the season.

However, it is also worth mentioning that this secret reward change-up is not the only currently taking place in the game, as the most recent update allows Fortnite players to pet dogs and other animals in the game. On top of that, it appears that Shadow Stones could be returning, drones may be coming to the game, and there could even be an Avengers: Endgame crossover. All in due time, though, so players can be focused on the current secret banner.

Players will first need to complete all Fortnite season 8 week 8 challenges to unlock the week's loading screen, depicting the new discovery skin Ruin. In the background, there is a series of coordinates that are hardly discernible which leads players to where they need to go. The coordinates are B6, B7, C6, and C7, which so happens to be just north of Polar Peak.

Fortnite players will want to drop on the frozen lake at those coordinates and find the season 8 week 8 secret banner on the giant snow-covered glacier there. If players have been keeping up with their secret battle stars and banners, then players will also unlock the new discovery skin dubbed Ruin. Currently, it is unsure if Ruin is somehow connected to the Prisoner and/or the Ice King (given that all three are seemingly related to the area), but completing all of these challenges will put players one step closer to unlocking Fortnite's tier 100 Luxe Skin.
