Fortnite Battle Royale's update for Season 7 Week 2 just recently went live, with the free-to-play multiplayer sandbox survival title having recently stirred up a little bit of disappointment in the fan base after introducing the Infinity Blade, and then vaulting it almost immediately thereafter for being too overpowered. While the sword may not see the light of day for quite a while, Epic Games still has plenty of fresh content to keep players busy–specifically Season 7 Week 2's Battle Pass challenges.

As seen in the image below, the Free Challenges for this week in Fortnite shouldn't prove to be too difficult, but the feats tasked to Battle Pass owners might be a bit more trying than one might expect. Should that be the case, follow along below to find out just how to complete all of the challenges for Season 7 Week 2.

Free Challenges

Search a Chest in different Named Locations (7)

This particular challenge should come easy to all Fortnite players, as searching loot chests are practically necessary in order to find good gear and survive. To knock this one out, head to any of the Named Locations on the map–be it Tilted Towers, Retail Row, etc.–and root through seven different chests.

Damage opponents with different types of weapons (5)

Variety is the spice of life, and this free Fortnite challenge wants to prove as much. While it may take fans a few matches to finish, the fastest way to do so would be to dive in from the Battle Bus to high traffic spots on the map–any of the new Named Locations in the winter biome should do the trick–grab as wide of a variety of guns as possible, and then take aim at nearby opponents. The objective is to dish out damage to at least five different enemy players, and the challenge should be complete after doing so.

Eliminate opponents in Snobby Shores or Fatal Fields (3) [HARD]

Depending on one's combat skills in Fortnite, elimination challenges can either be a breeze or a pain in the neck. Whatever the case may be, this one is straightforward, as players will need to take out three different opponents in either Snobby Shores or Fatal Fields.

Battle Pass Challenges

Stage 1: Visit Snobby Shores and Pleasant Park in a single match (2)

As previous staged challenges indicate, Fortnite players will be in for a few rounds completing the same activity, but at different locations. This time, one will need to hit up Snobby Shores and Pleasant Park in a single match, which should then be followed with traveling from Dusty Divot to Lonely Lodge, and then it ought to be finished off with going from Frosty Flights to Tomato Temple.

Play the Sheet Music on the pianos near Pleasant Park and Lonely Lodge

Occasionally, Epic Games adds challenges that require a lot more engagement than simply completing standard, everyday tasks in Fortnite. With this being the case, we've put together a separate guide on where to find Season 7 Week 2's sheet music and pianos, and how play the tune.

Compete in a Dance Off at an abandoned mansion (1) [HARD]

Similar to the Sheet Music challenge above, this one might require players to exert a little extra effort. So, we've got an independent Fortnite guide on how to complete the Dance-Off challenge right here.

Eliminate an opponent from at least 50m away (1)

This could be a taxing challenge for those Fortnite fans whose aiming skills aren't too sharp. Two of the most surefire ways to check this one off the list, though, would be to use either a sniper rifle or an assault rifle. Also, it's worth noting that the newly added airplanes offer the benefit of letting one shoot enemies from far distances.

Good luck out there, Fortnite fans!
