Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is here, meaning players have an all new grind ahead of them. Though the quest to max out the battle pass is a long and arduous one, it isn't without its rewards. This season, players can gain access to seven new skins, each with their own variations and unique appeal. While players will undoubtedly prefer different skins, the ones at the end of the battle pass show a certain level of prestige and dedication, making them valuable targets for diehard players. With the new season already launched, the hunt for these new outfits starts now.

Each season, Fortnite tackles a new theme with its dynamic battle royale setup. This season, dubbed Primal, is all about the primal nature of people and animals, and features characters that represent that. While most of the new skins are of original Fortnite characters, there are a few that are based off of third party characters, each with a deep connection to their more primal side.

The first new skin players can get is another incarnation of Jonesy. This skin features a more rugged look on the iconic character and is available at rank one of the battle pass. Moving on, Tomb Raider's Lara Croft is up next, making the first third party appearance in the battle pass outfits this season. She is obtained relatively early on at rank 15, but has an alternate skin that unlocks at rank 22. After her, players will unlock Tarana at rank 29, a new original Fortnite character that digs into the primal theme of the season. Her alternate costume is unlocked at rank 37.

Halfway through at rank 50, Raz is the next skin players can get. Although he seems standard at first glance, he has some way of turning his body purple. The silly character in this battle pass is Cluck, a bipedal chicken that still wears his egg as if it were clothing. His skins are unlocked at rank 61 and 69. At rank 77, Fortnite made the bold choice to add Raven from Teen Titans, and an alternate skin can be earned at rank 85. Finally, rank 100 brings another new character, the Spire Assassin.

For most of these characters, another alternate costume can be unlocked by completing Epic Quests and various other challenges, so players should keep a lookout for those. Finally, there is also an eighth secret skin coming that Fortnite has revealed to be Neymar Jr. Though fans know who it is, there's no telling just what it'll look like yet.

Fortnite is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
