The Fortnite Season 6 start date is just days away. After a brief delay that saw the start date pushed back a little later in the week, Epic Games is now gearing up for the next series of content that will keep players of the multiplayer shooter entertained. The actual theme of Season 6 hasn't been made public yet, but Epic has begun to release some intriguing new teasers.

In a post published to the official Fortnite Twitter account earlier today, Epic told fans and followers that "all great parties need a DJ." The tweet is accompanied by an image of a loot llama wearing what appears to be a hooded jacket as well as a very futuristic looking pair of sunglasses. The llama is also sporting a pair of massive headphones, all contributing to one incredibly stylish, DJ-inspired look.

Each Fortnite season comes with skins and cosmetic content based on its theme. The theme of Fortnite Season 5 was "worlds collide" and the skins were suitably taken from various eras through time. For example, there were multiple Viking skins as well as modern lifeguard and modern soldier skins. This Season 6 teaser could be hinting at a DJ llama skin that allows players to go around looking like a musical version of their favorite loot container.

This Twitter teaser isn't the only hint that fans have to go on when it comes to the theme of Season 6 or its cosmetic content. Over the last couple of weeks, fans have also been perplexed by the appearance of a giant purple cube. This cube destroyed part of the map before crashing into Loot Lake where it promptly turned the surface into a rubber bounce pad. While Fortnite players have mostly been using this spring pad in order to perform wild acrobatics, it would also make for a brilliant, bouncy dance floor, which would go nicely with the game's many dance emotes.

While the community has criticized Epic over its failure to properly credit dance creators, there's no doubt that these emotes are enjoyed by millions of players. So much so that even professional soccer players have performed the dances during goal celebrations. Season 6 could potentially introduce new dance emotes to go with the theme, and with plenty more teasers expected before Season 6 begins this week, expect them to offer even more clues on the matter.

Fortnite is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and iOS devices. An Android beta is also currently taking place.
