Fortnite‘s Season 5 Week 5 challenges will be available on August 9, but players can plan ahead by checking out the list of leaked challenges. Keep in mind that the following list of leaked Season 5 Week 5 Fortnite challenges could very well change, but so far the leaks have been accurate.
Once again, these leaked challenges come courtesy of Twitter user Fortrise, also known as Fortrise(n). Fortrise leaked the Season 5 Week 4 challenges, in addition to the rest of Season 5’s challenges. Fortrise has a very strong track record for accurately leaking Fortnite information, so while all leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, it’s highly likely that the challenges listed below will go live come Thursday.
- Deal damage to players with a clinger, stink bomb, or grenade – 0/300
- Use a rift – 0/30
- Eliminate opponents – 0/3 (HARD)
- Search chests in Junk Junction – 0/7
- Hit a hole in one from different tees – 0/3
- Follow the treasure map found in Greasy Grove – 0/1 (HARD)
- Eliminate opponents in Shifty Shafts – 0/3 (HARD)
The nice thing about the Season 5 Week 5 challenges is that a lot of them play into each other. For example, players could work toward eliminating opponents, eliminating opponents in Shifty Shafts, and dealing damage with a clinger, stink bomb, or grenade all at the same time. Plus, these challenges also play into challenges from previous weeks, so anyone who has yet to complete certain ones may now find the chase a bit more rewarding.
There are two challenges that should be particularly interesting to Fortnite players, especially Battle Pass owners. Battle Pass owners will be tasked with hitting a hole-in-one from different tees, using the golfing emote, as well as following a treasure map to a hidden battle star in Greasy Grove. This will likely be similar to the Flush Factory treasure map that players had to follow as part of a challenge a couple of weeks ago.
Before players can worry too much about the Season 5 Week 5 challenges in Fortnite, they will have to wait for them to actually go live in the game. Luckily the wait for Week 5 won’t be a long one, as it will go live on Thursday, August 9.
Fortnite is out now in early access on iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
