This Thursday, Epic Games will officially release the new challenges for Season 5 Week 4 in Fortnite. While fans will have to wait until then to know what the new challenges will be for certain, a dataminer with a proven track record for leaking new Fortnite challenges may have prematurely revealed what the new challenges will entail.

According to Twitter user fortrisen, the Season 5 Week 4 challenges in Fortnite will be as follows.

Free Challenges:

  • Build Structures - 0/250
  • Jump through Flaming Hoops with a Shopping Cart or ATK - 0/5
  • Eliminate Opponents in Dusty Divot - 0/3 (HARD)

Battle Pass:

  • Deal damage with Sniper Rifle to opponents - 0/500
  • Search chests in Flush Factory - 0/7
  • Search between a Gas Station, Soccer Pitch, and Stunt Mountain - 0/1 (HARD)
  • Pistol Eliminations - 0/3 (HARD)

Assuming these are accurate, the Season 5 Week 4 challenges in Fortnite seem fairly straightforward. Players will have another hidden battle star to find, like the one they could get from following the Flush Factory treasure map, and they will also have to do some other standard things, like dealing damage with specific weapons and getting eliminations in certain parts of the map.

That being said, there is one challenge that stands out, and it's one of the free challenges. Again, if we assume this leak is correct, then that means flaming hoops are going to be added to the Fortnite battle royale map later this week. Moreover, players will be tasked with going through these flaming hoops using the first two vehicles added to Fortnite, the Shopping Cart and the ATK, the latter of which is essentially a golf cart.

It's hard to say where these flaming hoops will be located, but this challenge sounds similar to the clay pigeons challenge or the lightning bolt challenge from previous weeks. Unlike some of the more skill-based challenges, completing that particular challenge sounds like it will just be a matter of locating the flaming hoops, so it will be interesting to see how quick players find them all once the new challenges go live in a couple of days.

Fortnite is out now in early access on iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
