Weekly challenges are a great way for players to make progress on Fortnite's Season 4 Battle Pass, and a new batch of tasks is set to go live this Thursday, October 22. That said, fans need not wait until Thursday to get a look at the Fortnite Season 4 Week 9 challenges, as they have already leaked online. For those players that want to prepare themselves for these new challenges, or need some guidance with the more difficult tasks, details can be found in what follows.

To note, two of the Fortnite Season 4 Week 9 challenges, including one that is likely to be geared toward squads, have placeholders at the time of writing. That means that some of the tasks for this week still remain a mystery, and it currently unknown when that will change. This guide will be updated when new details on this week's challenges become available, though, and fans are advised to check back in the upcoming days.

As is typical, a majority of this week's challenges can be easily completed simply by referencing Fortnite's map and following the instructions as provided. Indeed, fans should have little trouble finding Holly Hedges, Slurpy Swamp, or Sweaty Sands, and the challenges that occur at those locations do not really need further explanation. However, there are a couple of Fortnite Season 4 Week 9 challenges that may leave some fans slightly confused.

Fortnite: How to Use Silver Surfer's Board in a Single Match

The key to completing this challenge is to locate Silver Surfer's Board, and it is dropped by Stark Supply Drones. These flying machines can be found at Quinjet Patrol Sites in Fortnite, which appear as white, aircraft-shaped icons on the map, and players should quickly dispatch the drones that they encounter for a chance to receive the Mythic Superpower. Then fans can simply use Silver Surfer's Board to launch themselves into the air and complete this challenge with ease.

Fortnite: How to Land at Sharky Shell and Finish Top 25

While this challenge is fairly straightforward, some players may have questions about the exact location of Sharky Shell. To put things simply, this landmark is found on the island just north of Fortnite's Coral Castle, and the following map should make it quite easy for fans to land at it.
