Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 is officially underway, and players worldwide are now busy completing a variety of brand new challenges and discovering the various changes that have been made to the game's map. At the same time, these fans can be collecting the new XP Coins that have been added in Fotnite Season 4 Week 1, and this guide is here to assist players with exactly that.
Before going into the locations of the Fortnite Season 4 Week 1 XP Coins, it is worth mentioning that there are nine of them in total: two Purple XP Coins, three Blue XP Coins, and four Green XP Coins. While these are not worth quite as much as Gold XP Coins, which will likely appear later in the season, players that collect all of them will still earn a reasonable amount of XP and make some good progress on Fortnite's Season 4 Battle Pass.

Purple XP Coins
- 1: Near the road to the east of Frenzy Farm.
- 2: In a bush at the west edge of Weeping Woods.
Blue XP Coins
- 3: Break the wooden crate on top of the shipping containers on the west side of Fortnite's map.
- 4: Break the pile of garbage on the ground floor of the dilapidated structure.
- 5: Break the black case on the top floor of the building on the east side of Steamy Stacks.
Green XP Coins
- 6: In a tree south of Steamy Stacks.
- 7: At the waterfall southwest of Lazy Lake.
- 8: Under the bridge north of Salty Springs.
- 9: Near the water at the southeast corner of Slurpy Swamp.
For those players that are looking to overlap their XP Coin collecting with the completion of some of the new challenges, the location of Coin 2 provides a good opportunity to investigate the mysterious claw marks in Fortnite. Finishing this challenge will reward fans with a Wolverine-themed spray and put them one step closer to earning a skin modeled after this iconic X-Men.
XP Coin 8 is also positioned quite close to new challenge, and this one sends players to eliminate Doctor Doom in Fortnite. Indeed, fans just need to head due north from Coin 8 to reach Doom's Domain, which is typically Pleasant Park, and they will find the Marvel supervillain hiding out in a large house there. Players that want to make the encounter with Doom as easy as possible are advised to break through the roof of this house, as firing from above gives fans a big advantage.
