Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is coming to an end, with the final few weeks of the season promising to spice things up. In addition to the impending end of the current Fortnite season, it is also simultaneously the end of Chapter 3 altogether, with a reality-breaking cataclysmic "Fracture" chapter finale event.

Epic Games' free-to-play battle royale title has seen quite the eventful past few weeks in the lead-up to the end of its third chapter. November kicked off with Skywalker Week, which temporarily re-added Star Wars content like Lightsabers and E-11 Blaster Rifles to the game. Last week, Fortnite's v22.40 update added Rocket League's Octane as a new drivable vehicle on the island, as well as a new item and a new version of Big Battle as a LTM.

Detailed in a blog post on its official website, Fortnite's "Fracture" Chapter 3 finale event promises to be an "otherworldly and unexpected" social event. While there isn't much written information for players to go off of, the artwork for the event shows multiple chrome tornadoes ripping chunks of the island off from the surface, with the mysterious character Bytes hanging on for dear life in the center. Fortnite's "Fracture" Chapter 3 finale event starts on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 4 PM ET. Players can join the playlist 30 minutes prior, and join in-progress until 4:40 PM ET.

As a toast to the end of the third chapter, Fortnite is giving any player who logs in from December 2 to December 4 the Toasty Roast Emote for free, which has players toasting some marshmallows over a fire. However, there are still a few weeks before the end of Chapter 3, and Epic Games is making sure they're interesting. From November 22 until November 29, Avian Ambush Week makes its return, adding chicken-themed quests and multiplying chickens, making them the only animal on the island. Players can complete Bonus Goals for Level Up Tokens during the themed week.

Once Avian Ambush Week has concluded, Fortnite is again bringing back Bargain Bin Week. As Bar counts reset each season, everything on the island that uses the currency is deeply discounted, encouraging players to spend what money they have left. The week will have its own set of quests as well, along with even more Bonus Goals for Level Up Tokens.

With an all-new island the likely outcome of Fortnite's "Fracture" event, players should be sure to grab all the current content that they can, like the free Let Them Know Emoticon and XP released in honor of this year's World Cup.

Fortnite is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
