It’s been a fairly busy couple of weeks for Fortnite Season 3. Last week, the often-rumored Atlantis area, now known as Coral Castle, was finally added to the game, and with today’s Joy Ride update, Fortnite has finally gotten the cars that were teased at the start of the season. Of course, that’s not the only new content they have to look forward to this week, since there’ll be a new set of challenges for them to take on.

It’s common for Fortnite's weekly challenges to leak ahead of time, and that trend continues with Week 8 of Season 3. Once again, dataminers have managed to uncover the full list of challenges that will help players with earning XP and grinding out their Battle Passes ahead of Season 3’s end later this month.

Courtesy of Fortnite leaker FireMonkey, the full list consists of the following challenges:

  • Search chests at Frenzy Farms (7)
  • Eliminations at Salty Springs (3)
  • Complete the boat time trial at Motorboat Mayhem (1)
  • Drive a car from Retail Row to Pleasant Place in less than 4 minutes (1)
  • Collect wood from Holly Hedges (500)
  • Deal damage to opponents from inside a vehicle (1)
  • Deal damage to opponents from inside a vehicle (10000)
  • Search ammo boxes at Lazy Lake (7)

It’s the standard mix of standard objectives (searching chests, getting eliminations) and more season-specific challenges, with those unsurprisingly placing emphasis on this week’s newly-added cars. As per usual, each of Fortnite's challenges will reward players with 35,000 XP upon completion, with the exception of the “deal 10,000 damage from inside a vehicle” challenge, which will grant 80,000 XP instead.

It’s possible, however, that players might not be able to complete all of this week’s challenges. Just a few days ago, major glitches forced Epic Games to disable Fortnite’s boats, temporarily removing them from the game. At the time, the company couldn’t say when exactly the issue will be fixed, simply stating, “We’ll provide an update when this is resolved.” In all likelihood, the boats might not be back in the game in time for players to complete the Motorboat Mayhem time trial.

There’s also the chance that the leaked challenge list is incorrect, given that it’s a leak, but since the next set of weekly challenges is likely to arrive tomorrow, August 6, players won’t have to wait long to find out. Either way, new challenges are coming soon, and with them new ways to level up fast in Fortnite.

Fortnite is free-to-play on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions in development.
