Fortnite may change a lot over the course of its seasons, especially now during Season 3, but its weekly challenges remain a constant and reliable way for players to grind out their Battle Passes no matter what Epic Games changes, and as usual, they will have a new opportunity to continue doing so soon.

This Thursday will mark the start of Week 5 of Season 3 and the release of the next batch of weekly challenges. Although that means players can’t take them on right now, they can get an idea of what to expect, because the full challenge list has been leaked online in the latest case of Fortnite challenges being leaked ahead of launch.

There will be eight new challenges this week, from the looks of it, and like Season 3’s previous weekly challenges, completing these will reward players with 35,000 XP each, for a grand total of 280,000 XP. Also in keeping with another of this season’s trends, these challenges will center more around completing objectives at specific marked locations.

Naturally, it’s worth noting that, since this is leaked information, it might not actually be correct. Assuming it is, however, these are the challenges that will be available in Fortnite this week:

  • Search 7 chests at Sweaty Sands
  • Get 3 Eliminations at Retail Row
  • Use a Firefly Jar or Flare Gun at Misty Meadows
  • Land at the Yacht and finish Top 25
  • Catch fish at Craggy Cliffs
  • Upgrade a weapon at Salty Springs
  • Collect Floating Rings at Steamy Stacks
  • Search ammo Boxes at The Fortilla

All in all, these sound fairly basic compared to other weeks, so it should be easy for most players to clear most of these with relative ease. Of course, “Land at the Yacht and finish Top 25” will likely prove one of the harder ones, as ranking in the top 25 in any standard Fortnite match can be a pretty tall order depending on various factors, including whether players are able to get to a weapon first upon landing.

Another problem could come in the form of the Floating Rings challenge. This past week’s Floating Rings challenge happens to be broken, with players reporting that they’ve been unable to pick up the rings once they had jumped through them. While Epic Games said it was looking into the issue, it’s unknown at this time if the problem is something that could affect Week 5’s challenge. Players only have to wait a few days to find out, though.

Fortnite is free-to-play on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions in development.
