Does Fortnite Season 10 Week 2 Have A Secret Battle Star?

Fortnite Season 10 has now entered Week 2, offering new challenges for players to complete. Yet again, there is a set of limited-time challenges as well, with this week's being the Shootout at Sundown challenges. Players will have to complete at least three Shootout at Sundown challenges to unlock the Season 10 Week 2 loading screen in Fortnite, but once they do, they will technically be able to find the Season 10 Week 2 secret battle star - assuming it's not bugged.

Unfortunately, it appears as though both the Fortnite Season 10 Week 2 battle star and the Season 10 Week 1 battle star are bugged. There have been conflicting reports, but the general consensus is that these battle stars are currently unavailable in the game. Even so, we know by the loading screen clues where they're located, so once the secret battle stars are fixed and in the game properly (a fix is expected to come with next week's update), players will know where to go to collect them.

To find the Season 10 Week 2 secret battle star in Fortnite, players will want to travel just northwest of Fatal Fields. The ground here resembles a fork and a knife, and the Season 10 Week 2 secret battle star is expected to appear in the middle of them.

Of course, it's possible that Season 10 Week 2 won't have a secret battle star at all, and will instead have a different kind of reward for players to unlock. For example, past seasons of Fortnite had players hunting down hidden banners on the even-number weeks, so that could be true for Season 10 as well. Then again, with Season 10 forcing players to complete limited-time challenges if they want a chance at getting the secret battle star, it seems less likely that Epic would make the reward less appealing.

We should find out definitively if Season 10 Week 2 has a secret battle star with next week's update when the bug is fixed. In the meantime, players can count on collecting the reward, whatever it is, at the fork and knife location northwest of Fatal Fields. Collecting the secret battle star will help players advance an entire tier in the battle pass and in turn allow them to unlock more cosmetic rewards in the game.

Fortnite is out now in early access for iOS, Android, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
