Epic Games has released update 6.10 for Fortnite, and it includes tons of new features that include a new type of vehicle. The Quadcrasher was previously revealed a couple of days ago, and it will seat two players, and give them the ability to destroy everything in the cart's path.

The new addition to Fortnite’s fleet is designed to cause mayhem and destruction, as it sports a snowplow-like front. Moreover, Epic has infused this vehicle with a unique boost ability that will “crash through structures or get some air.” How this works is that the Quadcrasher builds boost while the player is driving it, and once the boost meter has been filled up, a hotkey can be triggered to propel the vehicle into the world, smashing buildings and causing destruction along the way. The new vehicle is also designed to boost off ramps or even cliffs, giving players some air time for a more action-packed experience.

The Quadcrasher was included with Fortnite's latest update that also added the Limited Time Mode Disco Domination in Battle Royale and a few mission enhancements in Save the World. Of course, the update also brought new weapons and fixed several issues and bugs in the game. Epic also released the patch notes of update 6.10 that details the Quadcrasher and everything else that has been added to the game.

Most recently, Epic Games also revealed in-game tournaments in Fortnite that will award players with points via total kills or for making it on top of the leaderboard. As players garner points during the tournament, they will be matched with a player with similar scores to encourage an equal battle.

Moreover, players on all platforms will be able to battle together during in-game tournaments. Although some Fortnite fans may raise the concern of how certain input devices are superior to others, Epic cited that this won't be an issue, as some pro players were able to perform well in tournaments whether its a console controller, a mouse and keyboard, or a smartphone.

Lastly, more details were leaked regarding the previously announced gifting feature in Fortnite. According to Twitter user Jaren, the gifting system will allow players to send presents to multiple players at once that can be topped off with a message to add a personal touch. It is worth noting that players are only allowed to send a gift to the same person every 10 days. Unfortunately, the gifting system is nowhere to be seen in the latest patch notes, so players may have to wait a little bit longer for this feature.

Fortnite is now available on Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
