While Epic Games' hit battle royale Fortnite has brought fans a unique take on the genre, it may be safe to say that the game has become even more known for its iconic skins and crossovers than its gameplay in recent months. Bringing fans massive crossovers with Marvel superheroes, hit video game franchises like God of War and Halo, and one of the most popular shows in the past year, The Mandalorian.

Of course, aside from its crossovers, Fortnite has its own recognizable original designs as well, including in-game skins like Jonesy, Fishstick, and the Skull Trooper. Now, with Chapter 2 Season 5 officially coming to a close next week with the Zero Crisis Finale event, players are already looking forward to what Season 6 may bring, and it seems that some of the new season's upcoming skins may have already leaked online.

Over on Twitter, popular Fortnite news account FortniteINTEL posted concept art showing 8 unique skins not yet in the game, thought to be a part of Chapter 2 Season 6. The skins were posted on art showcase platform ArtStation, and were reportedly designed by Kevuru Games, an art production and game development outsourcing studio known to have worked with Epic Games to create Fortnite skins in the past.

Unlike many other Fortnite skin leaks, this was not datamined, as the artwork can still be viewed by anyone on the ArtStation platform. In another tweet, FortniteINTEL notes that while many other dataminers and leakers have deleted their tweets on the possible leaked skins in order to protect the studio, the artwork was posted by Kevuru Games itself, has been up for 8 days, and doesn't seem to be unintentionally posted as it likely would have been taken down by either Epic Games or the studio by now. The Fortnite news account also mentioned that it is very likely that these potentially leaked skins are not upcoming Battle Pass skins, and are likely scrapped concepts.

FortniteINTEL finally reassured fans that this ArtStation post by Kevuru Games is completely within its ability and is no different from Xbox or PlayStation changing the game's launch icon. Of course, despite all this, while players may not see these new Fortnite skin concepts come to the game at all, they could just as easily come to fruition either as they are shown in the studio's post or with some new tweaks.

On Twitter, fans have already taken quite a liking to these potential skins, dubbing one of them "kid Midas" in reference to Fortnite's popular Midas skin, which just received a female counterpart. Regardless of this leak's validity, fans are excited to drop in Chapter 2 Season 6 next Tuesday, as the upcoming Zero Crisis Finale is "sure to shape reality as we know it."

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
