After a legnthy delay and a longer than normal lull in Fortnite, the second season has finally arrived. With it came a rush of new content for players to dive into including a new crossover with Marvel Comics own merc with a mouth, Deadpool. In fact, players can discover his secret hideout, which is actually just a trashed bathroom filled with supplies, and a set of challenges to complete. In addition, the first week of Battle Pass challenges is also live and tasks players with doing their best Clark Kent impersonation.

Known as the Brutus Briefings, Fortnite players will need to find a phone booth to disguise themselves. The challenge also makes it clear that players won't be able to complete it all in one go as a minimum of three matches need to be played.

Phone Booth Locations

Most of the red phone booths can be found at the new locations added to the map as part of Season 2.

  • The Rig - This location is in the southwest portion of the map not too far away from Slurpy Swamp. It actually has two phone booths to pick from, one on the east side at the helipad and the other on the west side between red and green containers.
  • The Agency - Located right in the middle of the map, surrounded by water. The first phone booth is at the front of the agency building down a small set of stairs. A second booth can be found at the back of the building on the right side.
  • The Grotto - Far to the east is this new location which is actually an underground base with a number of enemy NPCs. After entering into this area, the phone booth will be straight ahead at the base of a lookout tower.  There's a second option off to the side of the helipad in the middle of the base.
  • The Yacht - Upper right portion of the map is a boat off the shoreline. The booth itself is right next to the helipad on the boat.

Occasionally, special henchman can be found guarding many of these areas including the Brutus Boss at The Grotto. Upon defeat, he drops a legendary weapon called Brutus' Minigun.

Henchman and Disguises

Getting to a phone booth is one thing, but it's entirely another to actually enter it. Guarding each one is an AI Henchman who will not hesitate to fire on players. Some locations also have automated turrets to make things even more difficult. Players should move quickly to a phone booth and interact with it to disguise themselves as a henchman. When disguised, none of the turrets or NPC enemies will no longer be a threat, allowing the player to move around the area freely.

Keep in mind that firing a weapon at a henchmen will break the disguise. This could be used tactically to get the upper hand on them as performing a shakedown option will give players a scanner to highlight nearby chests and other enemies. After knocking out a henchman, players can pick them up and use them to break into locked areas or open special chests for more loot which could contain a few of the recently unvaulted weapons. However, using a disguise is also a good way to open ID scanner chests or open locked doors as well.

Fortnite is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and mobile devices.
